Wilbur McDonald

Wilbur McDonald is the Managing Director of NIVHA Laboratory Services Ltd. In this role, Wilbur coordinates all aspects of DNA or Drug and Alcohol Testing, for Workplace or Safe-guarding Children cases.

Wilbur is a qualified Biomedical Scientist and a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences and holds Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Ulster.

Prior to originally founding a laboratory testing business, Wilbur spent over thirty years as a biomedical scientist in transfusion, haemostasis and haematology, managing the merger of four hospital laboratory services in Northern Ireland. He also supervised the creation of the first MHRA accredited Stem Cell Bank in the UK.

As managing director, Wilbur manages the operation of the business, with a view to helping provide a safer environment at home or in the workplace.
