Nivha Laboratory Services Limited is a privately owned company providing services from within Catalyst (Northern Ireland Science Park) in Belfast. There are also offices in Northern Ireland Science Park in Derry and Edinburgh.
Nivha Laboratory Services Limited provides a range of services associated with the detection of Drugs and Alcohol in the workplace. It also provides drug and alcohol monitoring solutions for the legal profession, specifically in safeguarding children casework. The services can be provided for customers within the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
Workplace services include collection of breath, hair, urine or saliva samples for pre-employment, unannounced and 'for cause' circumstances, policy preparation or advice, education and training as well as results management and reporting. Nivha can also provide on-site determinations using 'point-of-care' devices for alcohol and drugs in breath, saliva and urine.
In Safeguarding Children casework, Nivha can provide expert advice for social workers and solicitors in testing strategies to be used in particular cases.
